Aloe yavellana Reynolds (1934)

DESCRIPTION: branching, stems erect to 1 m, then decumbent, leaves ca 20, 40x8 cm, bronze brown, paler in shade, young spotted, teeth 2-3 mm long, 10-15 mm apart. Inflorescence 90 cm tall, 8-10 branches, racemes capitate, flowers dull scarlet.
DISTRIBUTION: Ethiopie (Yabello prov. Sidamo)
CULTIVATION: easy to grow, shrubby.
