Aloe petrophila Pillans (1933)

DESCRIPTION: Plant stemless, simple or suckering to small groups. Leaves 20-25x5-6 cm, bright greenish brown with scattered whitish H-shaped spots. Pungent teeth 2-5 mm long, 8-12 mm apart. Erect inflorescence 50-70 cm high, racemes capitate, flowers bright pink.
DISTRIBUTION: RSA (Soutpansberg, prov. Limpopo), Zimbabwe.
CULTIVATION: Easy cultivated in sandy soil.
